Student Council has had a year filled with activities. As a  wrap up, the members hosted a talent show for the third time on May 24.

“The talent show is always a favorite for the students and teachers.” sponsor LeeAnneWarren said. “It is a great way to end the year.”

Junior Cynthia Easterbrooks performed in the show.

“I played the cello this year,” Easterbrooks said. “It is one of the only talents I have.”

I like to see the many talents our students and teachers have.

Junior high students were also able to participate.

“We decided to do some basketball tricks,” seventh grader Carter Hilbers said. “We chose that because it is going to be held in the gym.”

Lane Briggs was Hilbers’ partner for the tricks.

“I wanted to do it because there weren’t any seventh graders participating,” Briggs said.

Secretary Kayla Crowley said she enjoys watching the talent show every year.

“I like to see the many talents our students and teachers have,” Mrs. Crowley said. “I also really like Mrs. Warren’s comedy act.”

While there are those who do not participate in the show, they still attend.

“I hadn’t been to a talent show before,” junior Megan Belyeu said, “but I liked seeing all the inpsirational kids in our school.”
