The Fellowship Christian Athletes drove to Olney on Jan. 24  to attend The King’s Court, a church service held by FCA sponsors.

Senior Kennedy Huseman spoke on being  a servant at the event.

“Being a servant is a major theme in the Bible,” Huseman said, “ Serving others has helped me develop a servant’s heart towards God and towards others. We cannot live a fulfilling Christian life without embracing the attitude of being a servant. We must follow the example of Jesus as followers of Him. He is the ultimate example of being a servant in the Bible.”

Coach Amy Huseman, Kennedy’s mother, said she was very excited when she listened to  her daughter speak in front the crowd.

“Even though she was nervous,” Coach Huseman said, “she had a very good message and I am extremely proud to call her my daughter.”

Seventh grader Eli Anderson also attended The King’s Court event and he said it was very inspirational for him.

“They talked about how God saved a lot of people and what He did for us,” Anderson said.
