The annual PAL zoo trip  was on April 16. They went to the Fort Worth Zoo.

“The PAL trip is something we do to honor the PALs,” PAL sponsor Rhonda Rowe. “It’s usually at the end of the year. PALs and PALees  can go together and have fun seeing all the animals.”

Senior Grace Morris said she enjoyed her time.

“While we looked at the animals, I enjoyed seeing their facing when something came out of containment,” she said. “It was an overall great time.”

Being her last year, senior Kennedy Huseman said she hopes to make an impact on her PAL.

“I had a good time with my PALs at the zoo,” Huseman said. “It was special to be with someone I hopefully mentored.”

Huseman also learned from her experince.

“They taught me how to be patient and listen,” she said.
