OVERALL: 13-6

DISTRICT: 9-20

BRIGHT SPOTS: “We are working as a team more than in the beginning. Our hitters are very strong and we are able to serve the ball very well,” freshman Aspyn Huseman said.

INSIDE  SCOOP: The team is really close and tells a lot more jokes during games and practice than expected, Coach Mayson Morris said.

COACH’S VIEW: “The best part about coaching is that my team finally figured out they can play and they play good and they’re winning. That’s good too,” Coach Morris said.

ATHLETE’S VIEW: “We are learning to work together better, but the team needs to talk to each other more and be more excited to play,” freshman Olivia Vogtsberger said.
