INSIDE SCOOP: Ritchie said all of the games in district are going to be tough games for the boys. “Nocona, Seymour, Windthorst are really good basketball schools,” Ritchie said. “We have to practice a lot for those games.”
WEAKNESS: Ritchie said the size of the team is the boys’ biggest weakness.
“We have one big kid,” Ritchie said.
Eighth grader Gabriel Rice said he thinks the team’s offense can become better.
“We also should work harder on passing the ball,” Rice said.
Eighth grader Alexander Miller said he believes shooting the ball is their weakness.
“We should practice more after school,” Miller said.
STRENGTH: Ritchie said the boys’ strength is that they are fast and they are very coachable.
“We have kids that will do everything we ask them to do,” Ritchie said.
Miller said they work well as a team.
“We try to stay patient and not to be mean to each other,” Miller said.
