Member of FFA had a meeting on Oct. 21.
New agriculture teacher Ryan Crafton said the meeting was themed.
“We had a Halloween-theme meeting constructed by our chapter officers with fellow FFA students. We encouraged the students to dress up,” Crafton said. “We fed them at the end of the meeting and we also had games for everyone to play.”
Crafton said that competition season will start at the end of October.
“We will have FFA creed speaking, Greenhand Creed speaking, Greenhand Quiz, Senior Quiz and Greenhand Radio,” Crafton said.
Crafton said that he hopes to accomplish a lot this year with FFA.
“I look forward to seeing how much we accomplish, what we already know and what we need to improve on during our contest, so we can look into possibly advancing,” Crafton said.
Junior Victoria Foster said she is ready for competition.
“I am in FFA Creed speaking and senior quiz team,” Foster said.
Foster said there are more members in FFA.
“Compared to last year we now have more FFA students that will actually compete,” Foster said.
Junior Kellar Crow said he looks forward to going above and beyond this year.
“I look forward to seeing how far we advance this year,” Crow said.
