Principals Council had a meeting on Jan 17, talking about their upcoming trips.
Dr. John Sherrill, high school and junior high principal, said there would have to be a lot of help because of how much money the Baylor University trip will cost.
“The kids would have to do fund raising to help with the expenses,” Sherrill said.
The last meeting was about ethics, how to be a leader and how to be true to one’s self.
“We had House of Representative James Frank to talk about his journey on how he became a leader for Texas,” Assistant Principal Jamie Krenek said.
The Council is planning on going to Baylor Feb. 14 to look at the campus and to talk to the other students that are also visiting.
“I’m very exited to go to Baylor to look at the campus and to with my fellow classmates,” junior Zoey Bates said.
The students will not be doing anything else beside seeing the college because of how far it is, Krenek said.
The Principal’s Council tries to meet at least once a month to talk about the problems around the school.
Ethics and morals are the main conversations that are discussed in most of the meetings Howard said.
