Joe Santagato had a dream to start a podcast. He came up with the idea in 2015. To create a personal podcast to talk and express his thoughts, personal opinions and beliefs with friends and family. It’s become place to laugh, cry, make friends and grow as a person. Within the nine years that he has been doing this podcast, Joe has gone from 23 to the age of 32 sinse he started filming he now has a net worth of 5 million and has made over 400 different videos expressing love, hate, confusion and most importantly friendship.
In 2020 Joe found a friend. Frank Alvarez age 31 . Now four years later there friendship still stands along with the podcast. and they have turned the podcats thebasementyard for a small chanel on Youtube they now have over 700 thousand followers on there Youtube account. They are not only presant on youtube they also post to Tic Tik, Instagram, and twitch with a combind following of over 4 million folowers. Loads of people have heard of podcasts but not a lot of people understand them. They take time, money, patience, loyalty and most importantly the drive to get up in the morning and film for hours so that people may enjoy the content or get a kick out of it. Even with all of that. when they post the video, they will not make loads of money seeing as for every 1000 views the publisher will only make $18 not including what he has to pay his employees editors
