LAST WEEK: The team fell to the Quanah Indians 0-12.

PREVIOUS GAMES: Seymour, Olney, Baird, Windthorst, Munday, Quanah and Petrolia.

BRIGHT SPOTS: “My favorite part about football was before the games when we prayed together,” eighth grader Hayden Hilbers said. “That was when the game and the expectations didn’t matter.”

INSIDE  SCOOP: The team sustained a number of injuries this year. During  their game against the Munday Moguls, eighth grader Kameron Moss  fractured both bones in his right forearm, and eighth grader Hayden Hilbers broke his left humorous. While playing the Olney Cubs, eighth grader Ty Bates fractured his femur where the MCL attaches.

WEAKNESS: “We have fun, but we do not work together all the time,“ Coach Wes Johnson.

STRENGTH: “We are all friends and most of us have known each other for years,” Moss said. “We have fun with each other and the coaches.”
