JV Girls basketball

OVERALL: 4-7
The JV girls basketball team has lost one game this year. The girls lost their Muenster game,annd won their scrimmage against Throckmorton in double overtime. The girls played a close scrimmage against City View.
BRIGHT SPOTS: “The JV team won a game in double overtime this year,” Coach Mayson Morris said.
INSIDE SCOOP: “As the season continues we, could be really good if we just paid attention and remembered our plays,” freshman Faith Morris said.
Morris said she is hopeful for the upcoming games and hopes that they can keep working hard.
The practices are really long. They are, however, very effective. Coach [Amy] Huseman works on what we need to improve on such as shooting and defense.

COACH’S VIEW: “It’s going to be awesome,” Coach Mayson Morris said. “ We do need to work on freethrows, turnovers and overall communication.”
ATHLETE’S VIEW: “It’s going to be a great year. We are all a really strong team and everyone is trying.” freshman Jennifer Smith said.
