Family, Career and Community Leaders of America held the “Be My Valentine” fundraiser to provide gifts for students to give to their special someone.

All of the orders will be delivered to Ms. Odom’s classroom and available for pick up. The orders can also be delivered directly to loved ones at school on Friday.

The 2019-2020 FCCLA officers are coming back to fundraisers they have done in the past.

“We are getting back to our traditional fundraisers this year,” FCCLA sponsor Donette Odom said. “Also, I am so thankful that Sincerely Yours is helping with the fundraiser.”

Sincerely Yours is the supplier of the fundraiser’s items such as Valentine carnations, candy bags, rose bud vases, plushes and balloons.

“It gives students a selection of items to choose from if they don’t have anything for their special someone.”

Students didn’t have to worry about making a trip to Wichita Falls to find the perfect Valentine’s gift but instead could order something with ease right in their own school.

“The Be My Valentine fundraiser makes Valentine’s Day less stressful for couples,” Supervisor of Fundraisers Johnny McNair said. “It gives students a selection of items to choose from if they don’t have anything for their special someone.”

FCCLA members are also planning for the upcoming Renaissance Fair in May.

“For our upcoming trips, we are planning to go to the Renaissance Fair and we might also go to the Dallas Arboretum,” Ms. Odom said.
