Staying busy during COVID-19 quarantine

With COVID-19 keeping everyone at home, it can be hard to find ways to stay occupied; however there are multiple opportunities  to keep busy during quarantine.

Finding a daily exercise routine can be a great way to stay occupied. This will keep you active and prepare you for athletics next year. Doctors recommend doing at least 30 minutes of exercise, which is a good way to spend your time.

Doing a puzzle can be an entertaining way to occupy time. An average puzzle takes anywhere from four to six hours to complete. Not only do they kill a great amount of time, but they also sharpen your mind.

Reading a book is also a great way to kill time. The best way to occupy yourself is by immersing yourself into a different world. Reading can easily pass the time and also stimulates the brain and protects memory and thinking skills.

Another way to keep busy is rearranging your room. You could move your bed into another area or organize a bookshelf. This will leave you feeling refreshed and accomplished.

You could also start a television series. With schoolwork and extracurricular activities taking up so much time in the day before the pandemic, there was hardly any time to do something like watch TV unless it was late in the night. Now, you can have the opportunity to binge your favorite series or start a new one.

A good way to take up time is trying something new. You could try cooking something you’ve never tried before or teach yourself to sew. Trying a new activity or picking up a new activity can be entertaining and a good time killer.

Although it’s hard to practice social distancing and stay away from your friends, there are ways you can enjoy yourself and stay at home.
