The annual Wildcat Classic, which was canceled last year due to COVID-19, was held Dec. 2 – 4.
The Wildcat Classic is a varsity boys and girls basketball tournament hosted in the gym. The boys competed against eight other schools (Henrietta, Midway, Holliday, Vernon, Iowa Park, Lindsey, Lovelady, and Christ Academy.)
This year the varsity girls were unable to compete due a lack of teams The boys went 2-2 during the 3 day tournament.

Senior Hayden Hilbers said that it was a little different than other games because it is hosted at home.
“” he said.
Hilbers said it feels rewarding when the school and town watches the tournament.
“It makes not only me but the rest of the team feel good to know people care and support us,” Hilbers said.
The boys will also be competing in the Jacksboro Tournament today through Saturday.
