“We came in second on the Olney tournament, so I felt we did good,” Miranda said.
INSIDE SCOOP: Shianne Bracey, who’s on the eighth grade team, said that she believes that the tounament was one of the best games that they have ever played.
“Rebounding and ball control was definitely one of our strengths at the game,” Bracey said.
Bracey thinks that one of their weaknesses was setting up their plays and actually knowing what to do in them.
COACH’S VIEW: “As a team I think practicing more on our layups would be a weaknesses that the teams have,” Mooney said. “During some games we missed most of them that could’ve made a difference in the games.”
Mooney said that some strength from both teams were that they would “fight” for a whole game and never give up.
ATHLETE’S VIEW: “I think we should practice more our lay-ups and also work more towards getting a better understanding of what we say to each other,” Bracey said.
Miranda said that one of their strengths was on passing.
“We did good on passing the ball and being positive about it,” Miranda said.
