When you think of Chinese food, it is easy for one’s brain to jump to Panda Express or Taki Ramen; however, on May 26, a new Chinese restaurant was added to the Wichita Falls storefront.
Fun Noodle Bar gives its customers an in-depth experience into the taste of Chinese culture. As soon as you walk in to ask for a table, you can see workers preparing noodles from scratch in an array of sizes all to match the authentic Chinese dishes. The menu offers 41 options of different appetizers, dumplings, rice/noodle dishes, ramen and dessert.
From my experience, the environment and staff make the experience extremely enjoyable. It is a relatively smaller restaurant so you are seated closer to other customers, but this offers an opportunity to make small talk with those next to you.
Once seated, you receive complimentary salted peanuts as a palette cleanser for your meal. Each item on the menu is easily mapped out, and every item has a picture and mini description. There’s no rush to order and the waiters are very understanding and helpful when you have questions.
The prices themselves are cheaper than their opponents with the most expensive option on the menu being $14.99. From my own experience, I managed to get an appetizer, two entrees and dessert for just $34.65 minus a tip.
I personally recommend Fun Noodle Bar any time you have a craving for authentic Chinese food, an amazing atmosphere and exceptional service.
