Getting ready for the holiday season, the Prowlin’ Growlin’ Wildcat Band performed a festive concert on Dec. 1 during Christmas on the Square. Following the concert, band members went caroling around the square.
The band performed four different sets of music including “The Polar Express” arranged by Paul Lavender, “A Cartoon Christmas’’ arranged by Michael Story, “Angels We Have Heard On High” and “A Christmas Trilogy,” both arranged by Elliot Del Borgo.
The band chose these sets together, said head drum major Brittany Howard.
“The music was most tasteful and I believe it sounded exquisite when we played,” Howard said “The band really came together as one.”

The concert helped the bands’ playing and togetherness while getting ready for concert season.
