The boys continued district competing in a doubleheader against Quanah resulting in losing one and winning the other.
“All we need to do in general is improve,” sophomore Seth Kinzie said. “We could practice batting more. It would help a lot.”
The boys ended their season with their last game losing against Windthorst April 23.
junior Jonathan Clay said.
The team has goals in place for next year’s season.
“Our goal is to win a district championship and make the playoffs,” White said.
The boys plan to use these goals to get them to their succeeding point.
“To become stronger as a team, we will just need to play more baseball,” White said. “We needed more pitches at bats and innings played.”
White said as a team the boys possess a strong set of skills.
“The best skill that we possess is that we are very coachable,” White said. “The players are very receptive to being coached.”
These skills are noticeable and will help them.
“We can put our best set of skills to use and improve as a team,” Clay said.
