Red’s Wagon is a barbecue food truck located on West Main at the edge of Archer City. The location isn’t great for attracting customers but they make it work. The shrimp boboy sandwich and garlic wings are two of the best selling dishes. The wings are flavorful and satisfying. The workers are very speedy with the way they craft their recipes. They work hard and are good at what they do. The prices are also cheap compared to the amount of food served. This is the main upside of going out of the way to eat at Red’s Wagon. The wings especially are a great bang for your buck. Compared to big businesses in the Wichita area, they are almost twice the value.  Hours, however, are limited. If they were open more hours of the week, they would definitely get more business. Advertising would help out too. Their Facebook page isn’t the easiest to find, and the way they advertise otherwise is very subtle. If their advertising was able to get into peoples minds. They would be known as a main staple in Archer’s food options and expand their business greatly with more exposure. The food at Red’s Wagon is home cooked which is commendable on their part. Making home-cooked food is not very easy but they do it anyway. The effort they put into their food lets them bring out the taste and texture of all their dishes and sides. They have a diverse range of dishes to pick from such as  cajun chicken pasta, chalupas, sandwiches, burgers, mac and cheese and fries. It is owned and ran by only a few people. This brings a big challenge to running a successful business. They can’t take days off without shutting down the truck; plus all of the upkeep and maintenance falls onto them. They have no managers above them to help them out if they are out of supplies or are running into obstacles.  But despite this, they still keep it operational. They are open almost every single day and keep making great dishes for their loyal customers. They have specials for different days of the week and are open for longer during events going on through the town such as bonfires or football games. This puts extra stress on them but they sacrifice for their business and the people of AC. Red’s Wagon may be the best-kept secret, but it’s worth discovering.
