The school year is ending on a good note. Staying strong in both sports and in the classroom this school year was great in school spirit. The pep rallies and the football games, the volleyball and basketball games were all more school spirited.
The volleyball team advanced to playoffs, girls golf advanced to regionals, tennis advanced, and both softball and baseball advanced to the playoffs.
Volleyball advanced to mutiple rounds of the playoffs and overall did so good! To cheer on the girls during this time there were fan buses and themes. Everyone showed up on the fan bus dressed up to create a great student section.
The girls golf team played 3 regular tournaments before the two day district tournaments. The Olney district tournament the girls placed first and day two second. And from there Kori Keeter, Kaelyn McMahen, Chloe Becker, Chevy Wallace, and Emry Veitenheimer were all qualified and advanced to regionals.
Tennis advanced to regionals, Ashlyn Harvey and Seth Truette played there games and won. And overall did great this season. Both the softball team and the baseball team advanced to the playoffs. They took the win against Nocona.
Ending the school year is also a time to think and reflect on the year. Like what could you do better next year or change.
Celebrating with your classmates, award ceremonies, and banquets are also a big factor on ending the school year off on a good note.
Let your classmates know they did good this year. Let your teachers know you appricate them. I deficiently learned way more than I thought.
In UIL Kori Keeter advanced to state in the journalism advents, Liam Schewmake, Maddox Mayo, and Adelyn Winter were alternitives.
Every student and every athlete did such a good job this year and even though we can all improve on things we still had a great school year. I can’t wait to see what next year has in store.
