Fall: a season of unimaginable joys, calm breezy nights and having a blast with my favorite people. The smells of different scents, the decorations and the food that come with this season make it my favorite.
The crisp air, colorful leaves and sweet smell of pumpkin spice creates a calm and homey atmosphere. Fall invites us to dress warm and comfortable for the cold weather. Wearing the cute sweaters, jackets, fluffy boots and beanies make fall a cozy time.
It’s also the start of new beginnings, such as starting school again and celebrating holiday traditions. While some people prefer Halloween, others like Thanksgiving more. I prefer Halloween because of the trick-or-treating, dressing up, haunted houses, scary movies and Friday night lights.
Friday night lights are a magical time during fall. The band chants, the cheers, the team and hanging out with friends are always fun on Friday nights. Dressing up for themes and taking pictures with friends and family are special traditions.
Pumpkin patches are also another fun thing to do with picking out the best pumpkin to carve or paint. I also like to toast the seeds and sprinkle cinnamon sugar and eat them.
Halloween is on a Friday this year, which means Friday night lights and Halloween are being put together.Dressing up for Halloween and going to a football game sounds fun.
Fall is also a time when festivals and fairs are popular. To me, the festivals and fairs are nostalgic in a way. They remind me of my childhood and how fun it is to go and these things.
Drinking warm drinks gives off the fall vibe as well.
Hot drinks are a good way to feel warm and cozy, especially drinking from a mug.
The changing leaves also have meaning. When they change, it represents the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. And while many people are focused on the pumpkin spice lattes, to me fall has more meaning to it, and that’s why it is my favorite time of year.
