Haunted Houses are one of the festivities around the fall time.
Sophomore Maria San Narciso Gonzalez said that her first haunted house was really exciting and scary.
“It was my first time going to a haunted house and I had a lot of fun,” Gonzalez said.
Haunted houses range around the Wichita Falls area.
“We had a group of friends that went to Randlett,” senior Katelyn Casillas said. “I have been to the house before but it was fun going with my friends.”
Students have experienced working at haunted houses as well as attending. Freshman Madi Nicholson said that this is her first year working and she will definitely be doing it again.
“I work at Insane Acres by Wicked Andy’s Production,” Nicholson said. “My favorite part about working is seeing the peoples’ faces after being scared.”
Sophomore Talynn Lowe said going with friends makes the experience more fun.
“I went to Randlett with a group of friends,” Lowe said. “My favorite part of the haunted house was being scared and not knowing what’s next.”
At the Randlett haunted house, a haunted hayride accompanies a visit to the house.
“Randlett is my favorite because there is a haunted hayride and it’s very scary,” sophomore Emily Anderson said. “ The workers at the haunted house touch you so it’s scarier than the other houses I’ve been to.”
